The Feast of St Aloysius Gonzaga was celebrated with reverence and joy on 20 June 2025 at St Aloysius Gonzaga School. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, Principal of St Joseph’s School, Bengaluru along with Principal Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ and Vice-Principals Ms Laurel Dsouza and Ms Aparna Suresh.
Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ encouraged students to take St Aloysius Gonzaga as a role model, urging them to excel academically, grow in values, and deepen their faith. Principal, Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ emphasized focus, determination, and compassion as key values. He thanked Fr Melwyn for his contributions and presence.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song, followed by a special song and a graceful dance performance in honour of the patron saint. A touching farewell ceremony was held for Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, the former Principal of the school, to express heartfelt gratitude for his dedicated six years of service. The event also witnessed the much-awaited release of the school’s Annual Magazine, themed ‘Ekata – One World, One Future,’ A Holy Eucharistic Celebration was ogranised in connection with the feast with Fr Leston Lobo SJ, Director, Loyola Pre Novitiate as the main celebrant.
The programme was coordinated by Ms Acquina Rebello and Ms Tanuja Domber, ensuring a meaningful and memorable celebration.
