
Classes I to V celebrated the Feast of its patron saint with deep reverence and enthusiasm on 20 June, 2025. The event was graced by former Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo, SJ, as the Chief Guest, and Principal Fr Rohan D’Almeida, SJ. In his inspiring address, Fr Melwyn spoke about the virtues of St Aloysius Gonzaga and encouraged students to embody his values in daily life. Fr Rohan expressed gratitude to Fr Melwyn for his dedicated leadership and urged students to emulate the saint’s humility and focus.
The celebration began with a prayer song and included a cultural programme featuring a devotional song, a dance, and a video presentation on the life of St Aloysius Gonzaga. A special yoga demonstration was held to mark International Yoga Day, promoting health and mindfulness. A heartfelt farewell was also organised for Fr Melwyn, who has been transferred to St Joseph CBSE School, Bengaluru. The students from Kindergarten to Class V expressed their gratitude to their beloved outgoing Principal by offering flowers and handmade greeting cards.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude and appreciation for his six years of dedicated service to the institution. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Carol and Ms. Sushma. The celebration instilled values of faith, dedication, and gratitude in all present.
