The Feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 30th July 2025 at St Aloysius Gonzaga School for the students of Classes I to V. Principal Father Rohan D’Almeida and Vice-principal Ms Aparna Suresh had graced the occasion. In his message, Principal Fr Rohan D’ Almeida SJ encouraged the students to follow the Ignatian values of "finding God in all things," being men and women for others, and striving for excellence in all they do. He also reminded them that true leadership comes from humility and service, virtues that Saint Ignatius embodied throughout his life.
The programme features a skit and a video presentation that highlighted the significance of the day and the inspiring life of Saint Ignatius. A special song dedicated to the saint and a graceful dance performance added colour and joy to the event. The students’ creative efforts were also recognised through a presentation of activities from the art competition, in which many students had enthusiastically participated. This was followed by the prize distribution. The celebration was a wonderful blend of faith, creativity, and student participation, making it a truly memorable event for all.
