Parenting Session on “Parents as Vital Stakeholders in Character Building of Children”

St Aloysius Gonzaga School organised a parenting session on “Parents as Vital Stakeholders in Character Building of Children” on 13th September 2025. The resource person for the day was Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes, Parish Priest of Kulshekar Church, and a renowned motivational speaker.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the gathering by the MC, followed by an introductory address from the Principal, Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ.

Session 1 – KG to Class V

The first session was specially organised for parents of children from KG to Class V. Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes emphasised the importance of early character formation, parental guidance and positive modelling at home to lay a strong moral foundation in the child’s life.

Session 2 – Classes VI to XII

The second session was held for parents of students from Classes VI to XII. In this session, Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes stressed the crucial role of all stakeholders in shaping the values and character of adolescents, and offered practical insights for strengthening the partnership between parents and the school during these formative years.

The entire programme was compered by Mr Dheeraj Lobo and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms Rachel Mendonca.
