St. Aloysius Gonzaga School Hosts “Little Gonzagaites Fun Fiesta – Gonzaga Kids Movie Fest”

February 12, 2026

St. Aloysius Gonzaga School organized the Bagless Day-Little Gonzagaites Fun Fiesta programme with the theme Gonzaga Kids Movie Fest on 12th February 2026 at the school premises.

The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Rohan D’Almeida SJ, in the presence of the Vice-Principal and Ms. Laurel D’Souza. In his address, Rev. Fr. Rohan D’Almeida SJ emphasized that every movie conveys a moral through its characters and advised children to watch movies with their families, spend quality time together, and learn positive values.

Teacher, Ms. Mishal Carel Crasta briefed the students that movies are a form of entertainment and encouraged them to learn good lessons without imitating characters, as films are not real life. She also advised them to understand the difference between reel and real life and focus on meaningful learning.

The featured movie “Mufasa” conveyed important values such as responsibility, respect, parental guidance, mentorship, courage, compassion, and self-control. The programme began with an introduction by Averyl Rebello, and children enthusiastically shared their reviews and learning outcomes from the movie.

The event was coordinated by Patricia S.R. D’Souza, Averyl Rebello, and Anitha Nazareth, making it a joyful and value-based learning experience for the young Gonzagaites.
