Career Awareness Session for Class IX and X

October 09, 2025

A Career Awareness Session for the students of Classes IX and X was held on 9 October 2025. The event aimed to guide students in exploring various career paths and making informed decisions about their future.

The session featured Mr Naveen Paul, CEO of Draw My Career, as the resource person. He began with an engaging introductory activity that captured the students’ interest and set the tone for an interactive session. Mr Paul spoke about the wide spectrum of career opportunities available today and drew attention to the rising relevance of new-age fields such as data science, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that career choices should reflect an individual’s skills, personality, and interests rather than prevailing trends.

Mr Paul also highlighted the significance of continuous learning, adaptability, and the development of essential life skills like communication, creativity, and problem-solving to stay relevant in a changing world. The session concluded with a lively question-and-answer round, during which students enthusiastically sought clarity on their aspirations.

The program was coordinated by Ms Deepa Karkada, with a welcome address by Ms Shilpa R. Ballal and an introduction by Ms Laurel D’Souza.
