Training Session on Conflict Resolution and Collaboration for Classes VI and VII

November 18, 2025

St Aloysius Gonzaga School conducted a Student Training Session on Conflict Resolution and Collaboration for Classes VI and VII on 18th November 2025 from 8:30 am to 9:40 am at the Gonzaga hall. The programme commenced with a few moments in silent prayer, followed by a welcome address and introduction of the resource person - Ms Ananya S. M., Psychologist and PhD Scholar. Ms Ananya introduced the theme “Conflict Resolution and Collaboration: From Me to We”, highlighting common causes of conflict such as misunderstanding, differing opinions, and the clash between wants and responsibilities. She stressed that conflicts, when approached constructively, can deepen understanding and strengthen relationships. Her interactive presentation encouraged students to reflect on their actions, communicate clearly, and adopt cooperative approaches both at school and at home. Real-life examples and simple, practical strategies helped students relate easily to the concepts shared. Students participated actively by asking questions, sharing experiences, and showing genuine interest in learning techniques to handle conflicts calmly and responsibly. Overall, the session was informative, engaging, and instrumental in fostering essential interpersonal and collaborative skills among students.
