St. Aloysius Gonzaga School organised Career Guidance Sessions for students of Classes X, XI and XII on 30th January 2026. The sessions, titled “Beyond Class X: Exploring Career Choices through Strategies and Career Information” and “Path Finders: Your Next Step After XII”, were conducted with the objective of helping students make informed and realistic career decisions.
The resource person for the programme was Mr. Clement J. D’Souza, an experienced Academic Advisor and Soft Skills Trainer. He shared valuable insights into career planning, decision-making, and goal setting. Ms. Laurel D’Souza, Vice Principal, welcomed the resource person by presenting a sapling. The programme was compered by Mr. Dheeraj Lobo.
During the session, Mr. D’Souza emphasized the importance of aligning personal interests, abilities, and aspirations while choosing a career. Special focus was given to SWOC analysis and the use of career strategies in making an informed decision. Students also got an understanding of various job types and roles.
Class X students were specifically guided on choosing appropriate academic streams, while students of Classes XI and XII received information on higher education options, including opportunities to study abroad. The sessions were interactive and informative, enabling students to gain clarity about their future pathways. Overall, the initiative proved to be meaningful and empowering for students as they prepare for their career journeys.
