May 14, 2026

Rafael Lobo, Esther Rodrigues, Hania Kulsum, Arham Haroon Abdullah, Asher Mascarenhas, and Muhammad Ahil Haris, students from St. Aloysius Gonzaga School, joined the International Future X Bootcamp 2026 in Finland and Estonia, organised by Lifology and Venture Village Oy. The programme combined academic learning, innovation exposure, and cultural immersion.

Accompanied by faculty members Carol Tina Rodrigues and Acquina Veenus Rebello, the students engaged in sessions at prestigious institutions, including the University of Helsinki and Aalto University. The programme concluded with the European Pitch Competition, where students presented innovative ideas and received appreciation for their performance.

The delegation travelled to Tallinn, visiting Tallinn University and exploring its UNESCO-listed Old Town, gaining insights into European history and culture. A special highlight of the visit was a joyful meeting with Santa Claus.

In Finland, students experienced innovation and sustainability firsthand at the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre. The itinerary also included visits to the Suomenlinna Fortress, Senate Square, Parliament House, and the Oodi Central Library. Reflecting on the experience, student Rafael Lobo shared, “The bootcamp helped us learn beyond the classroom. Interacting with students and experts gave us confidence, fresh ideas, and a broader global perspective.”

The students returned with enriched global perspectives, strengthened skills, and meaningful international exposure that will support their future growth.
