A condolence meet was held at St. Aloysius Gonzaga School on 11th April 2026 to honour the life and legacy of the beloved Rector of St. Aloysius Institutions, Fr. Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, whose passing has deeply saddened the entire community. All the staff members of the school were present, gathering in unity and prayer to pay their respects.
The programme began with an introduction, followed by a hymn and a Scripture reading, setting a solemn and reflective tone. A brief reflection and message by the Principal of the school Fr. Rohan D'Almeida SJ highlighted the Rector’s commitment to Jesuit values, his spirit of service, and his compassionate leadership. Staff members then offered flowers as a gesture of gratitude and remembrance.
The Vice Principal, Ms. Aparna Suresh, shared heartfelt words of remembrance, acknowledging the Rector’s enduring impact on the institution and its people. The meeting concluded with a hymn and a prayer, entrusting his soul to God. The gathering served as a moment of collective mourning, gratitude, and faith, celebrating a life dedicated to service and forming others.
