The school reopened for the Academic Year 2026–2027 on 1st June 2026 with great joy and excitement. A special welcoming assembly marked the beginning of a new academic journey for students and staff.
The assembly began with a prayer service, invoking God's blessings for a successful and fruitful academic year. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Fr. Rohan D'Almeida SJ, Vice Principal Ms Aparna Suresh, Academic Coordinator Ms Carol Tina Rodrigues, teacher representatives Ms Roopa D'Souza and Ms Preethi Prabha Monteiro, and student representatives of Class I D Ronisha Shakshi and Neil Xavier Fernandes of Class VD, symbolising the light of knowledge and wisdom.
A teacher's introduction PPT helped students become familiar with their teachers. The school community also welcomed the Academic Coordinator, Ms Carol Tina Rodrigues, and newly joined staff members Ms Likitha Salian, Sr. Reshma, Mr.Harish and Mr Nathan Shawn Rebello, who were introduced with appreciation and applause.
A special highlight of the programme was the group photograph of the new students from Classes II to V, marking the beginning of their journey in the new academic year.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr. Rohan D'Almeida SJ encouraged students to approach the year with eagerness, discipline, and a spirit of continuous learning. His inspiring message motivated students to strive for excellence in all their endeavours.
The assembly also included inviting students celebrating their birthdays to the stage, followed by the singing of the birthday song. The programme concluded with the School Pledge and the National Anthem, reinforcing the values of unity, responsibility, and patriotism.
The programme was compered by Ms Swathi Bharath, who warmly welcomed the gathering. The Reopening Day Assembly successfully set a positive tone for the Academic Year 2026–2027, filling the school campus with joy, optimism, and a renewed commitment to learning and growth.
