The Hindi Saptah Culmination – Senior Level

The School celebrated the grand finale of Hindi Saptah for Classes VI–X on 1st September 2026 with great enthusiasm. The programme was based on the theme “हिंदी के रंग, प्रकृति के संग”, highlighting the beauty of Hindi and the importance of connecting with nature and our culture. The Hindi Saptah which was held from 24 to 29 August featured a variety of engaging literary events, including the Speeches, Poem Recitation, Story Writing, Mono Acting and Poetry Writing.

Vice-Principal Ms. Laurel D’Souza and Academic Coordinator Ms. Deepthi Sahana Karkada graced the occasion with their presence. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a presentation on the significance of Hindi Saptah. Students of Classes VI to VIII presented a lively group song, while the students of Class IX presented a meaningful short skit. A dance performance added colour and energy to the celebration. The audience was also shown glimpses of the various Hindi Saptah activities conducted throughout the week.

Ms. Laurel D’Souza, in her message, emphasised that language connects people by helping us express our thoughts, feelings and ideas. She also highlighted the importance of respecting India’s many languages.

The programme was compered by Anika G. Baliga and Samarth Mallya of Class VII.

Overall, the Hindi Saptah celebration was a meaningful and enjoyable experience that strengthened the students’ appreciation for Hindi, Indian culture and nature.
