The release ceremony of the third book of Ms Shinaed Fernandes took place on the joyous occasion of the Feast of St Aloysius Gonzaga on 20 June 2025, adding to the significance of the day. Ms Shinaed, who has been a part of the Gonzaga family since Class I, was felicitated by the Principal, Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, along with other dignitaries. In his address, Fr Rohan congratulated Ms Shinaed and urged the student body to draw inspiration from her dedication, creativity, and discipline. “The Deception” is a compelling blend of fiction, fantasy, and a touch of science fiction, tailored for readers in her age group. With this latest publication, Ms Shinaed continues to shine as a beacon of youthful creativity and intellectual promise. The attractive cover page of the book was designed by Ms Ziya Fathima of Class XII.
