A solo singing competition was held on 3rd July 2025 in the St. Aloysius Gonzaga School Hall in celebration of the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola for students of classes IX to XII. The event began with the introduction of the judges: Mr Robin John Paul Sequeira, a distinguished Konkani singer and DJ from Mangaluru, and Mr Dheeraj Lobo, a passionate singer and choir member. The occasion was graced by the Vice Principal, Ms Laurel Dsouza, who conveyed her best wishes to the participants. Students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their love for music on the theme “Life of St Ignatius of Loyola.” They impressed the audience by singing with karaoke tracks and playing instruments, beautifully expressing the values and faith of St Ignatius. Mr Dheeraj shared valuable feedback after the performances, encouraging students to keep spreading the joy of music. The event was compered by Ms Sushmita Rachel Pinto.
