Bakrid Celebration (Classes VI–XII)

Bringing together the spirit of faith and festivity, St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) on 17 June 2025, for students of Classes VI to XII.

The Chief Guest, Mr. P.C. Hashir, Managing Director of Peeci Group and proud parent of P.C. Tanisha of Class X A, reminded the students that Eid-ul-Adha symbolizes the deep faith and trust believers place in God. The Principal, Fr. Rohan D’Almeida SJ, urged the students to uphold values of unity, compassion and brotherhood in their lives. The programme began with an invocation of God’s blessings, followed by a warm welcome address by Avika Joshi of Class VII B. Ayaan Jithesh of Class VII B and Riza Fathima of Class VI A shared the significance of Bakrid, highlighting the values of faith, obedience, and sacrifice. A vibrant cultural presentation comprising a soulful song and a graceful dance was performed by students of Classes VI A and VII B. The programme was compered by Master Daksh U of Class VI A and Ms. Aaradhya Singh of Class VII B. Roshita Sunil of Class VI A proposed the vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by Ms. Ashwini Lewis and Ms. Precilla Sequeira.
