On 21 August 2025, St Aloysius Gonzaga School held the much-awaited inauguration of the Christian Life Community (CLC). The momentous event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr Edward Rodrigues, whose words of encouragement uplifted the gathering. The programme began with a serene prayer song by the students of Class IX, after which Risha Lasrado of Class X A extended a heartfelt welcome. The ceremony was seamlessly hosted by Dithan Fernandes of Class IX.
A solemn highlight of the event was the candle-lighting and oath-taking, led by our Principal, Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida, symbolizing faith, unity, and dedication. On this occasion, the newly elected office bearers of the CLC were formally introduced: Dithan Fernandes (IX A) – President; Tulip Kate Fernandes (IX B) – Secretary; Neil Anthony (IX D) – Joint Secretary; Seon R. Fernandes (IX A) – Programme Coordinator; Abigail Therese Lobo (IX B) and Josh Ethan Vaz (IX B) – Deputy Programme Coordinators. Their assumption of leadership roles marked the beginning of a new chapter rooted in service, faith, and responsibility.
Rev. Fr Edward Rodrigues, a beacon of wisdom and inspiration for the young generation, shed light on the spiritual significance of the CLC and its role in nurturing values of fellowship and commitment. The vote of thanks was gracefully proposed by Esther Nicole Rego of Class X C, who expressed deep gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the programme. With the thoughtful coordination of Ms Beena Pais and Mr Santosh Lobo, the inauguration stood as a landmark in the school’s ongoing commitment to faith, service, and community life.
