St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, organised Talent Thrillz – Gonzaga Got Talent 2025-26 from 13th to 17th October 2025. The event provided a platform for students from Pre-KG to Class XII to showcase their unique talents through a variety of competitions. Students participated with enthusiasm, creativity, and team spirit, making the event lively and memorable. The programme was formally inaugurated on 13th October 2025. Ms Shaina Chrystle Dsouza, Actress and Public Speaker, Joint Secretary, Student Council, St Aloysius Deemed to be University, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In the address, the Chief Guest drew inspiration from the Bible, highlighting that talents are gifts from God. She urged students not to compare themselves with others but to recognise their unique abilities and nurture them through hard work, determination, consistency, and faith. She encouraged them to seize every opportunity offered by the school to grow and excel in both academics and co-curricular pursuits. Principal Fr Rohan D Almeida, along with Vice Principals Ms Laurel D Souza and Ms Aparna Suresh, were present for the inauguration. The Competitions Conducted: Category 5 (Classes IX to XII) – 13th October 2025 Individual Events Class IX and X: Drawing, Mehendi, Poem Writing, Logo Designing Individual Events Class XI and XII: Nail Art, Reels Making, Fashion Walk, and Just a Minute. Group Events IX to XII: Band/Music, Shark Tank, Dance – Retro, and Mad Ad. In-charge Teachers: Ms Acquina and Ms Jevita Category 4 (Classes VI to VIII) – 14th October 2025 Individual Events: Soap Carving, Introspection, Western Dance, Anime Sketching, and Mono Acting. Group Events: Cooking Without Fire, and Rangoli. In-charge Teachers: Ms Preethi Pais and Ms Mallika Category 3 (Classes III to V) – 15th October 2025 Individual Events: Stone Painting, Mask Making, Story Completion, and Character Parade. Group Events: Dance Competition, Fashion Show, and Duet Singing. In-charge Teachers: Ms Bhindia and Ms Teena Category 2 (Classes I & II) – 16th October 2025 Individual Events: Drawing & Colouring, Origami, Dance, Poem Recitation, and Act-a-Story. In-charge Teachers: Ms Roopa and Ms Reema Category 1 (Kindergarten Section) – 17th October 2025 Events: Dance, Fashion Show, Fancy Dress, Show & Tell, Elocution, and Floral Rangoli. In-charge Teachers: Ms Veronica and Ms Patricia A valedictory function was held at the end of each day after the competitions, during which prizes were distributed to the winners. The Parent Teacher Executive Committee played a vital role in the smooth conduct of the programme. The parents expressed their happiness and shared their delightful experience of being part of GGT. They appreciated the school for providing such a wonderful platform for students to showcase their talents. The programme not only showcased the diverse talents of the students but also nurtured creativity, confidence, and teamwork, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all. Meticulously planned and executed by the GGT in-charge teachers, Talent Thrillz – Gonzaga Got Talent 2025-26 was truly an enriching and memorable experience for all.
