“A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.”
The birthday of our Principal, Fr. Rohan D’Almeida SJ, was joyfully celebrated on October 25, 2025, in Gonzaga Hall. The celebration reflected the deep admiration and affection the staff hold for a leader who continues to make a difference in the lives of all.
In his address, Fr. Rohan expressed gratitude to God and the school community, emphasizing the importance of learning from experiences and staying connected with family, society, staff, students, and parents- symbolized through his “five-finger prayer.” He also highlighted gratitude as a quality that makes a person truly special.
Ms. Preethi Pais compered the programme. Ms. Laurel Dsouza, Vice Principal, welcomed the gathering, while Ms. Aparna Suresh raised a toast in honour of the Principal. A bouquet, a special song, and video tributes including wishes from St Joseph’s School, Bengaluru added warmth to the occasion. Coordinators and the Maintenance Officer presented a gift on behalf of the staff. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Lavanya Shetty, followed by a fellowship lunch.
