An excursion for the students of Classes XI and XII was organised from November 7th to 9th, 2025 as part of the school’s experiential learning programme. Forty-four students—20 from Class XI and 24 from Class XII—participated, accompanied by teachers Mrs. Deepa Karkada, Mrs. Shamitha Shetty, and Mr. Vinay Kumar.
The group departed for Bangalore on November 7th at 9.30 pm from the school campus and reached the city at 6.30 am the next morning. Accommodation was arranged at Regenta Place, Cunningham Road. After breakfast, the students began their sightseeing tour, visiting Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Vishvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, The Aquarium Paradise, and the Musical Fountain at Indira Gandhi Park. The day concluded with dinner at the hotel.
On the second day, the students visited St Joseph CBSE School, where they were warmly welcomed by Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, Vice Principal Sr Sheena Joseph DW, and staff. An interactive session provided valuable insights into the school’s functioning. Later, they visited UB City Mall and spent the afternoon at Wonderla Amusement Park. The tour was well-organised by Travel on Bangalore.
The group returned to Mangalore on November 10th at 5.30 am. The excursion was both educational and enjoyable, offering meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories.
