Curriculum Day 2026

June 06, 2026

St Aloysius Gonzaga School successfully conducted Curriculum Day for parents of students from Classes I to IX on 6 June 2026. The programme aimed to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in supporting the holistic development of every child.

The session provided parents with an overview of the curriculum, academic expectations, and educational approach for the academic year. Coordinators and teachers explained the teaching methodologies and classroom practices designed to make learning engaging, meaningful, and learner-centred.

Parents were oriented on assessment procedures, examination schedules, grading patterns, and promotion criteria, helping them gain a clear understanding of the academic evaluation process. The programme also highlighted co-curricular activities, life-skill programmes, value education initiatives, and opportunities for talent development that form an integral part of the school’s educational framework.

Special emphasis was placed on the shared responsibility of the school and parents in nurturing disciplined, responsible, and confident learners. Parents were informed about school policies, communication channels, and the importance of regularly monitoring their child’s progress.

The interactive session enabled parents to seek clarifications and better understand the school’s vision and expectations.  Expressing her appreciation for the programme, Mrs. Deepa Kotari, parent of Aarav Kotari from Class 5 C said, “Curriculum Day provided us with a clear understanding of the school's academic expectations and teaching approach.  It was effective because the session was held in smaller groups in the respective classrooms where parents could feel comfortable in clarifying their doubts with the teachers.  We look forward to working closely with the school throughout the year.”

Curriculum Day concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the collective commitment of the school and parents towards the academic excellence and overall development of every student.
