Students of Classes XI and XII participated in the Educate MAGIS Connected Classroom on 11 June 2026, engaging in an enriching virtual interaction with students from Colegio Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo, Madrid, Spain. The Educate Magis Connected Classroom initiative connects students from Jesuit schools worldwide to promote intercultural dialogue, global citizenship and collaborative learning.
The session was coordinated by the Spanish teacher Mr Corey John Streitwieser, who facilitated a lively and meaningful exchange of ideas and experiences. The online interaction provided an excellent platform for students to learn about each other's cultures, traditions, festivals, cuisines, and everyday life. The Spanish students were warm, friendly, and highly interactive, offering valuable suggestions on places to visit and ways to experience life in Spain. In return, the students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School proudly shared India's rich cultural heritage and traditions.
The students described the session as insightful and enriching, appreciating the opportunity to interact with peers from another part of the world. The exchange broadened their perspectives, strengthened their communication skills, and fostered mutual respect and understanding. The programme truly reflected the Jesuit vision of forming globally aware, compassionate, and responsible young individuals through meaningful international collaboration. Ms Aparna Suresh, Ms Deepa Karkada and Ms Tanuja Domber coordinated the event.
