The Capacity Building Programme held on 28th May 2025 focused on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom. The session began with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome and introduction of the resource persons by Ms Sushmitha Rachel. The ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp added a traditional touch. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, Principal, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of AI in education. The training was conducted by Ms Seema Silvia Dsouza and Ms Nishitha from Delhi Public School, MRPL, Mangaluru. The sessions were informative and interactive, offering practical insights into the use of AI in teaching, learning, and assessment. Highlights included promoting student well-being, understanding the role and challenges of AI in education, and exploring AI-driven tools for classroom instruction and school management. The facilitators demonstrated various user-friendly applications and encouraged collaborative learning through group activities. The programme proved to be enriching and inspired educators to adopt AI responsibly and effectively. Ms Jevita Fernandes delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource persons and participants. Ms Ashwini compered the event, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the day.
